I suppose the point of this dimwitted theory is that it's the solstice, which occurs at 11:11 GMT. (Oooh, all those 1s. Spooooooooooky.)GMT is 5 hours ahead of the US east coast, so nothing will happen at 6:11 AM on the US east coast, when this Askvillager will be asleep.

West coasters will presumably also sleep right through this non-event just past 3 AM.

When are people going to realize that the world is not going to end abruptly. Every prediction resulted in nothing. What fascinates me is that they don't realize it's ending slowly & we are killing it slowly.
