I'm neutral on the issue, I just wanted to throw that scenario out there.
Actually we have free health care in canada. I've paid taxes for 35 years and never been in the hospital. Smokers here pay about 17% of the healthcare bill but we only use about 6% of it on smoking related illnesses.
If someone plays sports and is hurt, should the people who don't play sports have the right to be angry because health insurance premiums go up because of sport injuries. Or if a person doesn't drive but a person driving gets in an accident , a non-driver still gets effected by the increases. I understand what you were saying but I disagree with you anology of it.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
