Honestly... It works fine, but really it is not anything better than Firefox or even Google Chrome. I would recommend those first because they are smaller and faster. Overall, some people that I know use IE8 and the only complaint was that it was kind of like Vista in that you have to change all of the defaults to make it run well.

Other than that, there was not really any complaints and even with the default settings, I am sure that most people would find it fine.

1 I've seen a few horror stories about IE8 on the PC World boards and the Windows Secrets email list. A number of people have uninstalled it and gone back to IE7 because of conflicts and crashes. I haven't installed it for that reason.

Then again, IE is a pig, a lousy browser and a major security risk. I wouldn't have IE on any of my machines but for the occasional badly designed websites that won't work without it (like my idiot bank's). Save yourself a lot of grief (and get a better browser) by going to Mozilla.Org and downloading Firefox.

Leave IE for the clueless newbies who don't know any better.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
