I can say from personal experience, they really do work. My husband has thinning hair and uses a Nioxin System. I have tried the styling gel and finishing cream and love them!
My husband notices his hair being thicker and swears by Nioxin. You can go to the official site and find a salon near you that sells Nioxin. I live in the country and do not want to drive forever, so we purchase Nioxin at Amazon.
Nioxin is not the cheapest and not the most expensive either. If a product works though, price usually means very little. My husband would pay anything to continue using the products.
I like how my hair looks and feels. My hair is dry and the cream is awesome. Give it a try and see for yourself.
If you do not enjoy Nioxin, simply do not buy it again. Every one is different and everyone's hair is different.
Even if they seem unrelated to hair loss, they may actually coincide. Things like: does your scalp itch, are you tired all the time, are you bruising without explanation, are you cold all the time, is your skin really, really dry, are you under an unusual amount of stress, etc. There are soooo many things that can cause hair loss, the more detail you can give your dr., the quicker you can figure out what's going on (or what's not going on). But, definitely talk to your hairstylist, too.
It can just as easily be a non-medical reason and he/she could suggest a treatment for you to try. Thanks to an underactive thyroid, I have serious hair issues--its thin, it falls out, blah, blah, blah. But, there are a lot of products that I've found that really help.
Bumble & Bumble Thickening Shampoo & Spray are fantastic. I don't really care for the Thickening conditioner though--I find that it dries my hair out, so I use Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat leave in conditioner. Its a nice light detangler and it smells like grapefruit AND it doesn't weigh my hair down.
The spray bottle feels a little weird to use, but you get the hang of it. Plus, the spray is so wide, 3-4 squirts covers my entire head. If the Bumble Shampoo is too expensive for you, try Big Sexy Hair's shampoo.
Bumble's Thickening Spray is pricey, but it's so worth the splurge. Also, a GREAT styling product is Pureology Nanoworks Shine Luxe. Again, it's pricey, but it lasts forever because you only need a teeny-tiny bit.
It pieces out your hair and gives it enough hold that you can avoid hairspray. I take GNC's Hair, Skin & Nails formula vitamins with biotin. While I don't think it necessarily promotes new hair growth, I do feel like it strengthens the hair that I have.
I can definitely tell a difference between the times I take them and the times I get lazy and slack off. Hope some of this helps you!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
