The EDD won't do anything for you if you quit. And in this job climate, getting another job could simply not happen. However horrible, keep the job.

You're in a buyer's market right now; your skills sell for less than they're worth because you workers are in a glut. That'll change, but until it does, don't jump the gun. Stay put and earn..

Unemployment. Life is to short to be miserable at work. Plus, you'll make more on your UE benefits..

1 Your sanity is worth something. Working a bad job can give you a bad attitude that will lessen your chances of finding a decent job. Been there, done that.

Take a vacation. Get your head straight. And then work at finding a decent job 40 hours a week; 8 to 5.

You'll find it.

Just to be sure things are straight before you go back to them. I don't know what they will make of your quitting this job but say they buy it. Id say if you cant really tolerate the job and it is more than unemployment, you will have to do the cost/benefit analysis.

You can always keep looking for a full time job while you are collecting some money from either source.

3 Keep the part time job. At least you are earning for yourself. If you go on employment, then I am paying your salary, as a taxpayer.

I have no desire to pay someone who is sloughing off.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
