The answer depends on the type of images you wish to take, how bulky you're willing the camera to be, and how much money you wish to invest in the camera. For simple point-and-shoot images the Canon Powershot SD890 IS is worth checking out. It is a 5x optical zoom, 10 mega-pixel camera from one of the leading makers of digital cameras.
The price depends on when/where you buy it, but should be in the few hundred dollars range. If you're willing to lug around a larger SLR camera, but don't want to spend much over $1k, Canon's Digital Rebel series is worth considering. If you're interested in getting into photography in a big way, and don't mind spending well over $1000, check either Canon's EOS series (usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=Pr... ) or Nikon's D series (nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Digital-SLR... ).
Both are extremely well made, and have a long line of outstanding lenses to choose from. These are especially appropriate if you're planning to use the camera for sport photography or for shooting wildlife images from long distances.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
