Looking for an entreprenerial mentor based in London. Any thoughts or recommendations please?

The first thing I'd do is ask my friends if they know anyone who has some solid business experience. If they could introduce you, that would be much easier than trying to 'warm' up to someone you don't know. If you already have a business, it may also make sense to actually call a competitor and ask for some friendly advice (I know some business owners who do that).

To get a true mentor, you'll have to pass through the other stages of your relationship with them first (stranger to acquaintance to friend, etc). The best way to do that, and therefore the 'highest form' of communication, is communication over food! So, once they learn who you are, get off to a good start by taking them out for dinner.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
