Looking for baby pattern for a hat that has flaps and were it ties up under the chin?

If you cannot find a suitable pattern if you are an experienced knitter it is possible to adapt a pattern you have or any basic hat pattern. To do this. I would knit the hat, then pick up the number of stitches you need to make an 'ear-flap' (from the place on the hat that is just above the ears) and knit downwards decreasing one stitch at each end of every row or maybe every other row.

I would try to finish on about five or six stitches depending on the thickness of wool and size of the hat I was knitting.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
