Love advice, poetry,short stories etc?

Go for it. You know the old saying, nothing ventured nothing gained. I support your idea.

Others here seem open to it as well.

Mr. Idaho And fellow YAP friend. I have not looked at anyone elses answers until I conclude mine. On paper I like the idea, but in reality, it is going to be a tough sell.

It can be done, but we have to be persistent. I know of some petty darn good poets who have had stuff published but have made little money to date. Sure, it's not about the money.

Right! The other thing is who decides. For instance, I will post a poem here and some say it is good enough to be published and another says it needs more work.

Whomever decides, perhaps a team of 3, will have their work cut out for them. Would be fun to see it come to fruition, and anything is possible if one works hard enough at it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
