Is hubpages a good place to write original work such as short stories, poetry, books, etc...?

" In answer to your question, however, Hubpages is a good place to write original work (and that is required of those who write here) because you will receive feedback on your writing from some of the thousands of other writers who inhabit this place. The commentary you receive from that will be helpful to you.

One thing to practice here is a combination of really simple things... like spelling and grammar. "Writting" is not worth keeping, whereas "writing" can often be.

I feel that the more topics the hubs cover the more the overall goal is acheived here. Write what fuels your heart, and read what ignites others'.

I find it a good place, after all I am posting stories on here that I have written just so I can get some feedback, and of course, to make people happy.

If you want feedback on your writing and exposure to a diversified audience, then the answer is yes, HubPages is a good outlet. But if you are content to just upload your content, proud of the fact that you've taken the time to write it, and, don't sweat what others think about it, then a private blog may work out better for you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
