Sure. It is more expensive. But I use it that way.

Appreciate it! Thanks Dutchie 9 months ago .

Also, if used for frying, olive oil has a lower smoke point than vegetable oil/ it can't take high temps like veggie oil can.

Carla . . .

We don't care for the mayo based slaw dressing and I grew up w/ the vinegar/sugar cole slaw......I know Baby back ribs are made w/ a vinegar based barbeque sauce, North Carolina style......but never new the vinegar/sugar cole slaw dressing was called North Caroline! Be aware that there will be some olive oil flavor with it. Other than that, there is no problem.

It can, but you remember olive oil adds flavor so I wouldn't use it in a cake, it is also good for moderate-heat cooking so if you are deep frying then you should stick with the vegetable oil. Vegetable oil gives a cleaner flavor and better for high-heat cooking.

Just saw that you want to use it in a dressing. It will be fine to substitue olive oil for vegetable oil.

Carla, thanks....that was my concern, using it in a dressing. Dutchie 9 months ago .

While olives are technically a fruit (the seed-bearing part of the plant), they are as good or better than vegetable oil. Your one difference will be a slight olive flavor.

Can cooking oil be used in a pressure cooker.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
