Anyone who says "philosophy does this and doesn't do this" has fundamentally misunderstood what philosophy is. A) I am addicted to this site B) I am probably addicted to the evil manipulations imposed on me, the absentee management, the inane questions, the futility of this site -- all the dysfunctions that my bad self-image says I deserve. C) I know a bit about philosophy D) As a person in recovery I have a decades deep well of wisdom/common sense behind me in the years of listening to problems/philosophic and moral debate that occurs in recovery meetings.
E) I am a humorist. That is tolerated here. In poetry having a sense of humor makes you a complete stooge.
In politics or polls and surveys it is a waste of breath. F) Looking for an intelligent audience. G) Threats from Morpheus/Naguru crowd make me feel a moral compulsion to stay.
H) When I mention the cabal of frauds who have stolen the leader board, innocent questions (Like "What is knowable?") become reportable offenses. They have to report a legit question just to show me how powerful they are. I) To see idiots speak in Yoda-Grammar (If answers they have ~').
I think, Just the Name "Philosophy" Itself , Which is the Very belonging to Our Life and Searching the Riddles of the Life to Find the Answers while Immersing in It, Which Makes Me to Open My Experiences to the Unknown Personalities to Understand the Life of We are Moving, Which may Common to Every one, But, Dealing Differently while Knowing the Different ways of Life, While I am the Age Old lady Not Interested in Different Learning of the Various form of Our Extra Abilty of Our Life, So, I am squeezing Myself within the "PHILOSOPHY" with Some forum which I may Understand.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
