Sometimes, you get knowledge when you least expect it. Many times, I am surprised by what I learn on the simplest of questions.. I am surprised at how a person will give a well thought out, informative answer to something I thought had no "real" value. Never feel you are above others and what they may be able to offer and maybe realize most things have some value.
And maybe see that all things somehow relate to philosophy.
For immature adults ~~~ Children, mostly. One is still considered a child into mid 20s! Mediocre questions, mediocre answers ........what has happened to philosophy section?
~~~ And yet look at the mediocre question that you offer in the name of stemming mediocrity! What was it; "Be the change that you want to see!"? Statistically, the greatest concentration of people on the bell-shaped curve of intellect is central, mediocrity, average, ordinary!
They have questions also! You have yet to display symptoms that you occupy any of the 'less populated' areas on the curve! "ALL 'meaning' (including 'mediocrity') exists in the eye of the beholder!" "We don't see the world as it is, we see it as we are!"
Lets see how much 'meaning' you can find in those two sentences! Thanks for playing, though!
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
