Mosque near Ground Zero, NYC......?

Most people complaining about it have never been there. It's not right at ground zero. Besides, there was a mosque IN the WTC.

Muslims were killed in 9/11, too. None of the people I know that live in NYC have a problem with it, either. I think it's just something the right wing sensationalized to get their base riled up...

As long as they obey our laws then I say they CAN exist there.

IF they can't obey our laws or are connected to terrorism then they should be shut down and arrested. El pronto It is obvious to me that the whole reason they are building a mosque near ground zero is to incite ANGER and HATRED from Americans. I personally am not going to fall victim to their game plan.

I'll follow Jesus Christs teaching instead. I.e.. Mathew 5:21 “You have heard that it was said to our people long ago, ‘You must not murder anyone. Anyone who murders another will be Judged.

But I tell you, if you are ANGRY with a brother or sister, you will be judged. If you say bad things to a brother or sister you will be judged by the council. And if you call someone a fool, you will be in danger of the fire of hell.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
