Good point. Those opposing Beck's rally say that it was their right to speak there but think it was insensative for the rally to be held there on that day. A perfect analogy to the vast majority of those who are opposed to the Ground Zero mosque.
Intelligent people know that there is a Constitutional right for you to misstate what is being built in New York. For instance, you probably know it's neither a Mosque or at Ground Zero, but you are intentionally lying. You probably consider yourself a good Christian, too.
There is a right for the community center to be built. There is a right for affluent, white conservative Christians who feel they are "losing the country" to gather and complain about it.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
