You're awesome Gus. You get a star for that. I much prefer the old version of the amendment.
No offense.
I understand where you are coming from, now UNDERSTAND THIS: The US Constitution DOES NOT protect a foreign power buying land close to the worst attack in our nations history to erect an edifice to the religion in who's name that act was committed. Nor does it protect US citizens this power uses as an agent. Perhaps Imam Rauf should be charged with treason to prove this point, instead of arguing about it ceaselessly.
This isn't about Freedom of Religion, this is testing the waters to see how they can turn our system of government against us. Freedom of Religion is already under limitations in our country.( The poor christians aren't even allowed to stone people anymore) I see the "9/11 mosque that isn't a mosque and is not at ground zero" as well beyond the norm of protected freedom.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
