My cat keeps peeing in the bathroom tile, and going downstairs in the bed room and craping on the carpet why? how do I?

Time for a trip to the vet ASAP. Must be some sort of infection like a UTI maybe? .

If you haven't had her to the vet, please take her TOMORROW. If this is a change for her, it could be anything from a UTI to diabetes to hyperthyroid to cancer. We can't diagnose it here.

The one thing I can tell you for sure is that your cat *has* a reason for what she is doing! If you get her checked out, and the vet can't find a physical cause, come back and post another question, and there are several cat people who can help you trouble-shoot what the problem is. But none of this will help if it is a medical condition.

As CaseyCat recommended, please take her to the vet to rule out a medical condition. If she has a UTI, its painful to urinate, she associates the pain with the litter box, so she avoids it. The tiles are cool and might offer some relief.

I had a male cat with a UTI and he'd pee on anything cool. If she checks out medically start looking at her environment. Also how often do you clean her box?

Have you made any changes there? New brand of litter? Do you have any other cats?

Cats are very clean , they don't like a dirty box, clean it twice a day, They don't like smelly perfumey litter, smells nice to us but very over powering to their much more sensitive nose. Some casts don't like to share a box with other cats. Rule of thumb, 1 box per cat and 1 extra.Is it in a private location, cats like privacy to do their business just like we do.

Is the box one of those with a cover? Many cats won't use them, it traps odors inside, get rid of the lid.Is her box big enough? Are you putting enough cat litter in the box for her to dig in?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
