Yes keep the baby! Coming from someone whose had an abortion you will regret it, I'm currently pregnant and couldn't ever think of aborting my daughter. Plus you should be able to feel your little one kick around 20 weeks.
Why abort something so precious? Your ex forget about him and his new "soulmate" that's just a ridiculous situation all together. You are your own person and so is your baby.
Keep it tell him and leave it at that guarntee his "soulmate" won't be sticking around. Keep him/her (they should be able to tell the sex too around now) you won't regret it I promise. That baby will love you more then your ex ever could.
As for your financial crisis talk to family I'm sure they'd be willing to help out. 980 a month is more then what some women make off of welfare and they still can raise there baby. You can do it that baby needs you.
If you decide to have the baby then you need to have DNA testing after the baby is born so that he can help financially provide for the child he helped create. You didn't make this baby all by yourself. And if you decide to have the baby, you shouldn't have to bear all the financial burden of raising the child alone, either.
I would hope that you would reconsider adoption, but I can't force you. I hope that you can make a decision that you feel is best for you and your baby. I would call one of those help lines for women with unplanned pregnancies if I were you.
Unless you have already decided to have an abortion. Most of those hotlines are staffed by people who try to help you with living expenses, prenatal care, and emotional support while you are pregnant. They usually don't support abortion.
But they can help you find resources in your community so you can have a safe pregnancy and be able to provide for your child when it is born. They can help assist you in getting child support from the father if you decide to have your baby.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
