My indoor (black) cat has fleas. Any suggestions on how to get rid of them and keep them from taking over my house?

I wash my own three cats, which one is all black, in Avon Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil. The oil keeps the fleas away and keeps their coat nice and shiny and healthy looking too. It also is helpful if your pet gets dry skin in the winter as mine tend to do.

Its a trick that was passed down to me from my grandmother to my mother to me over the years that I found very useful since I am allergic to pesticides as a whole. I can keep my cats flea free and not use things that make me sick in the process. In case you wish to buy a bottle and try it I've included a link to help you find where you can purchase it as well.

Advantage clearly states you have to use this monthly, but I know for a fact that this is not true. If your cats are indoors, they're not usually exposed to fleas unless they are introduced to new pets, or a new house etc. While I use to buy the pricey solution every month, I have since learned that they don't need it. Once you apply to all your cats, every flea in your house is dead within 3 days.

Once I realized that they had no more fleas on them, I stopped buying it. I soon realized that they didn't return. The fleas returned when we moved to a new house, and again when we moved again.

I applied it once and have not had a problem since. I have 4 indoor cats, they don't go out. I have taken them to the vet and the vet always asks what I use for fleas, and I said advantage once and they have not returned.

She told me so long as they don't go out, fleas are not going to jump in through our screened windows and get at the cat. :) If you try advantage, you can freely let your cats out, and the fleas all be gone within a few days. ALL fleas and eggs as well.

You apply the solution to the middle of your cats shoulder blades, on the neck where they cannot lick it away. I would re-apply it to all cats, if you decide to bring another pet in the house. Advantage here: drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.....

Fleas, especially if the initial infestation was particularly heavy. Remember, you can get rid of fleas forever! Not to let them come in contact with other animals that are infested.

By a flea infested dog or cat can start the flea cycle all over again. Scratching and re-apply the top spot if you see even a single flea. Don't delay as fleas multiply very quickly.

Themselves unless they have a flea or a skin condition. Wash bedding and toys often.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
