As the petitioner, your husband will always be the primary sponsor, and as such he WILL need to submit his latest 3 federal income tax returns, even if the income is $0 on them. So have him file those tomorrow. Your father-in-law can be the co-sponsor if his income is sufficient.
Both, primary and co-sponsor will submit one I-864 to the USCIS. If you file form I-765 with your AoS package, which is FREE if filed concurrently, you'll have your work permit (EAD) between 10 and 12 weeks later.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
