Consider a trim... I have naturally curly hair that is thin. If there's too much length, it looks stringy. It gets oily at the roots and dry on the ends. So, I kept it at my earlobes to keep the ends fresh and so there's not too much weight to pull out the curls.

I use: Paul Mitchell Shampoo One (Shampoo Two would give you more moisture) Bioloage Conditioner (very light, basically a detangler) Matrix volumizing mousee (mousse is one of the lightest stylers) Redken pliable styling paste (just a WEE bit keeps away the frizzies! ) I've never found a WHOLE line that works for me, neither for hair or my face! So I just pick what products works for me.

My stylist used all these on me. SNAP! My hair is really fine and I`ve had perms in the past that fall out within days and others that leave my hair feeling like straw. If you want to have your hair permed then my advice would be to find a really, really expensive hairdressers with an excellent reputation because they will use only products your hair can handle and not the cheapest muck their supplier has sold them!

One perm DOES NOT suit all hair types! I personally was so upset by the damage perms were doing that I stopped using them. I use excellent conditioner and if I want my hair in soft curls I crimp it or tong it.

Spray it with a BIT of water first. You won't need to have your hair that damp because it is fine hair. Then to hold in place use a good hairspray.

I`m not sure if you can mousse and then tong or crimp. My 6 year old has the same hair type and hers is still baby hair. She loves curly hair and I braid hers wet then take them out in the morning or even a day later, depending how much effort I put into doing the braids!

Lol You could do similar with soft rollers or even the age old ragging! It really depends on how much time you have to do your hair, but my guess is you spend ages on it already because it never feels right to you. There`s a ton of hair care products on the market but over the years I`ve found very few that are REALLY suited for very fine hair!

Finding a suitable shampoo and conditioner and not changing products too often is the basic key. The rest is individual choice. Good Luck!

1 I love my extentions! They made my hair thicker. They do require more work though.

3 I had coloured extensions in once, just a few across my fringe, but my hairdresser told me to be careful because my hair was fine and the glue wouldn`t hold if I brushed it too much! They did offer to glue any back in that fell out if I kept them though. I like to comb my hair after I`ve washed it to get the tangles out.

I`m a bit of a wuss about pain! Lol Fine hair is hard to grow (apparently) because as the ends get further away from the head they break more easily, so keeping the hair trimmed often will strengthen and thicken it naturally. So they tell me!

Not that I disbelieve them because I don`t go that often to have it cut and it`s never grown much past my shoulders! Tracy xxx .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
