New assault weapons banned?

Every few years the liberals switch their scare tactic boogeyman. Once it was "semiauto handguns." Then "cop killer" non-expanding bullets.

Then "maximum carnage" expanding bullets. Then "sawed off shotguns" that have "no possible legitimate use....." "Assault weapons" is just the boogeyman du jour.

First there are no assault weapons this is a term made-up to make guns sound bad as far as I can find out there has only been 1 gun labeled assault and it has not been made for more than 40 years the big push against "assault weapons" is because people that know nothing about guns can be talked into attacking one type because it looks mean to them it does not matter that these weapons are rarely used in crimes or that other guns can do more damage this is a way to get started to banning all guns what you should wonder about is why do they want to take away your ability to defend yourself and after they take away your right to have weapons what will stop them from taking away your other rights like buying a big gulp in New York - you can't do that it's illegal.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
