For all intents and purposes marriage to a Dutch citizen is no different to marrying a British citizen. The only thing your future spouse will not be able to do is vote in national elections until they have lived in the UK for five years when they become permanent residents. There are no legal implications to marrying a Dutch citizen.

He can live in the UK freely with or without being married to you so he has no advantages through marriage to a Brit. Under EU law you have the same right to live in Holland without any restrictions on the basis that you are a citizen of an EU member state.

Even without marrying a British citizen, a Dutch citizen can enter the UK freely and live as long as we and Holland are in the EU or as long as the EU exists (which may not be very long).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
