My answer isn't very helpful as I don't know for sure. I have tried different ways. I think it's a trial, and error situation.

If it's traffic you are looking for. I am new to this, and find, if you look at other Hubs, and comment, kindly they pay you the same compliment. Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Short keywords are much better for SEO purposes if there's little competition. I'm always surprised by how short most search terms are, there are literally hundreds of times more searches for single word keywords/search terms than two word terms and hundreds of times more of those than for three words ones and so on. If you can perform well then the shorter the target keyword the better, but you have to balance this with the fact that there is generally more competition for short keywrds.

Good luck.

A short-phrase is typically searched more often and if you are able to capture that you will get more traffic. However, shorter phrases also tend to be more general so the searcher is more likely, not a buyer. Frankly, I would do both if you can make a 2nd unique or unique enough article.

Then you've got the best of both worlds. All that being said, I looked at my adsense earnings. Although one of our shorter phrases has enough additional traffic to make up the difference and it is a our top payer, when you add all of the long-tail related phrases together, they quickly eclipse it.Cd :O).

I prefer short titles if there is no competition. Some people when searching don't want to type extensive information into a search box..However the only way to tell which would do better is to do both. Thats how I used to do alot of mine.

For some subjects long tail keywords work best (according to google approximately 70% of searches are 3 or more words...dont quote me) but for little to no competition less keywords and to the point will work as well. Sorry for the ramble, hope this gives at least a small answer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
