Here in Canada, they took out Phosphates from dishwashing soap. Phosphates help lift the food off the dishes. Now I can only load half the dishes the dishwasher is designed for, to get clean dishes.It's far more efficient to wash by hand than load only half my dishwasher and waist that much hot water.
