One news channel is not reporting on the end of the Iraq war (troops home for the holidays! ). Can you guess which one?
Their "news alert" for the past hour has been about Michelle Bachmann's NH campaign staff resigning en masse. Asked by @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago Similar questions: news channel reporting end Iraq war troops home holidays guess Society > News.

Gee, I wonder! I guess Obama achieving yet another goal Bush failed at was a little more than they could abide. Wallowing in the mud is what they do best.
Its only right they stick with what they know.
Mission Accomplished, and no jumpsuit or aircraft carrier needed. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago .
That's the difference between the men and the boys. The boys brag about what they can never really do to feel important, and the men go on and do it.
Twouldn't be FoxNews that you intend to reference because I saw them showing President Obama making exactly that announcement.
I'm glad they showed it. I switched over right after he spoke, and nary a word on the story...for a couple of hours, at least. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago .
Well it's true. Pravda was the mouthpiece of the party under the Soviet Union which controlled the media. Fox is the mouthpiece of the Republican party which is working hard to communicate that do not represent democracy. So basically Fox is the new Pravda.
It's a shame. I would hope that ALL Americans see our troops coming home as big news. How can anyone hate our country so much?

Even Al Jazeera is leading with the story. AND THEY'RE MUSLIMS! @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago .
I haven't checked their website. I've been watching FOX and CNN all morning since the President spoke, toggling back and forth, while I work. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago .
Ah, sorry, I just assumed that you had checked....I saw President Obama speaking this morning but I haven't been home to watch anything all day, however when I stopped to check the internet I saw the story front and center on FoxNews. Com and on the top left of CNN. Com .
Sorry, I should have made it more clear that I meant television news. It just always blows my mind when there is a big news story, and a news channel can just not cover it. I first observed this phenomena with the Haiti earthquake.
I could never rely on a source of information that glossed over, missed, or was a week late on reporting major world stories. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago .
Yeah, I have noticed that news channels pick and choose what they cover like they want to control what is of importance to their viewers...unfortunately,a lot of people simply accept what is piped at them and never look any further to check sources.....I have seen this from almost every news venue at one time or another. It seems like they should be completely unbiased and just relate the facts, then let people decide for themselves.......Thanks for clarifying Goldie_Halloween! .
Yep, they did! Maybe it's time for some WD-40. @Goldie_Bah_Humbug 1 month ago jpg.

WOO HOO! Troops to come home by the holidays. Go Obama!
Goodbye Iraq: Last US combat brigade heads home. Is this the end of this war?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
