Our military: fighting for our freedom or simply enforcing American foreign policy?

I know that it does and I don't like it one bit. -it's termed "blowback" and because of our Foreign Policy of intervention oppressed people throughout the world see the only way of striking back is to do so on American soil. In return the federal government has to curb civil liberties of americans to fight back.

Liberals used to agree with me back when Bush was in office. Funny? What changed?

NOT our foreign policy.

As a result, we have the PATRIOT ACT. A bill that George W Bush created while liberals complained, and that Obama has expanded while Liberals cheer. " Once you surrender your freedoms to the government, they never come back.

Which Republicans in congress want to repeal the Patriot Act?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
