It's 2000 miles! You'll have to drive 500 miles a day to get there in 4 days. You won't have time for sightseeing!
Note that 500 miles a day at an average speed (yes, I know freeway speed is faster, but you will have to stop for certain necessary things like filling the gas and emptying the people) of 60 MPH is around 8 hours a day of driving. When I go on long road trips I like to do books on copilot. There's a larger selection than books on tape/CD, but it only works if your copilot can read without getting carsick.As far as stops; I would be inclined to set a series of waypoints; and if you gain time on your waypoints; you have time to make brief stops at roadside attractions; but otherwise; you will need to be plowing on through.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
