Planning a trip to Vegas-tips?

I have never done a long stay in Vegas because I lived in LA and would go quite frequently for weekend trips. And the myth that you can do Vegas cheap is very much true. Unless of course you are a big gambler then you are on your own.As for hotels, my friends and I seemingly prefer to stay at The Hotel which is part of Mandalay Bay, The Wyn or the Veneitician.

Of the three we mostly found good deals at The Hotel. Usually we would search around and try to find the best deal or simply call the hotel and see if they would help us out.Www.lasvegas.com is a pretty good site for hotel deals. Booking early does help too and if you find a better deal somewhere else you can cancel up to 24 hrs before your arrival time.

So right before you leave check and see if there are any better deals. The hotels hate to be empty on the weekends so sometimes they will do really cheap rates at the last minute. As for shows, I've seen zumanity and I do not recommend this one. It's not the most exciting show.

I have friends who saw The Beatles, Love one and "O" which is the show done underwater. http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/o/default.aspx I have never gotten a deal on tickets for a show but the theaters are usually not huge so almost any seat in the house is great. As for clubs, well those are a bit of a challenge.

First do not plan on drinking in them if you are on a budget. It's ridiculously expensive. Plan on drinking on the casino floor while playing slot machines before going in - it's free. Also once inside there's usually no place for a person to sit unless you have bought table service - which you can do but it will cost you.

There's multiple fees associated with the service in Vegas. And once we got there and got in and they made us buy 2 bottles which totaled a very huge bill. I do not recommend it.Do not wear shoes that kill your feet.

But I've been to Bank in the Bellagio which was pretty good and LAX in the Luxor which wasn't bad either. Both were not the easiest to get into and if you have guys with you then plan on standing, watiting, and paying. But if you are all girls then try walking up to the front and seeing if you can bypass all the chaos.

Oh one club I do not like is Body English at the Hard Rock. The music is awful. Tao and Tao Beach are fun at the Venetian too.

Go early but not too early too and then you can sometimes get in much easier. And for after hours go to Dres. Just ask a cab driver because they will know where to go.

It's open I think til 9 or 10am. Other things....walk around to each hotel and just look around. It's free and there's always so many things to see. At the Bellagio you can look at the designer shops which is fun and then do some real shopping at Planet Hollywood or the mall attached to it.

If you go to the Wynn check out the art museum which sounds strange but it's Steve Wynn's personal collection and it's amazing. It's not free to see but really worth it. Have Gelato at the Bellagio too.Amazing. Do NOT eat the buffet at the Rio.

Too many friends of mine have gotten sick from eating there. Many people will tell you to go but trust me it's not worth the cost. And cab fare to most hotels from the airport is around $25 - 30.

And do stay on the strip. I've been forced twice to stay off the strip and it's not fun. You spend much time and money going to the strip.

Save some money and stay at one of the big hotels. It's worth it.

According to travel journalist lary Davidson of glutenfreeguidebook. Com, she recommended the Border Grill Restaurant for gluten free dinners. The restaurant have separate gluten free menus such as panela, asadero, and Oaxacan string cheeses, served with chorizo and roasted poblano peppers.

The restaurant is located in Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV tel 702-632-7403 fax 702-632-6945. With regards to hotels, the number one on the lists is Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas located at 3960 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119, according to tripadvisor.com.

-quote- “Great stay at a serene hotel on the Las Vegas strip” We went to the Four Seasons in Las Vegas from February 14-15, 2009 for Valentine's Day. The hotel is located on the top five floors of Mandalay Bay, so you get a beautiful view. The room itself was clean, quiet, beautiful, and relaxing.

Since the Four Seasons itself does not have a casino, it felt more relaxing than the usual Las Vegas casino hotels. However, if you want to play, there is a convenient door from exclusive Four Seasons elevators to the Mandalay Bay. The staff at check-in was friendly...." -end of quote- As far as Las Vegas Clubs, the top on the list is Night Club XS, designed for both indoor and outdoor party goers and fit for new years event.

If you want to book for the best of Las Vegas Shows, I suggest you book a reservation with bestofvegas.com they have a toll free number: 1-800-947-1081. -quote- "Established in 2001, EBG launched BestOfVegas.com to offer competitive rates for the best Las Vegas shows, tours, nightclubs, as well as a special selection of hotel properties, ranging from small independent hotels to five star luxury properties. The site offers the best hotels, the best shows and the best prices." -end of quote.

Last fall we spent a week in Las Vegas at my brother-in-law's apartment so I can't recommend any hotels but I can tell you what we saw there that we really enjoyed. And most everything we saw was free, since we're broke anyway! We wandered through Caesar's Palace which is enormous and has some interesting features.

There is a solarium with lots of beautiful plants and animated trees, and there is an hourly show in one of the concourses that has animatronic characters from mythology and some neat pyrotechnics. Pretty awesome. There are also lots of shops there, most designers are represented and more expensive than my budget can afford but we enjoyed window shopping!

Treasure Island does a pirate show you can watch from the sidewalk. It has scantily clad dancing pirate ladies and more awesome pyrotechnics. And be sure to catch the Dancing Fountains which give a show at scheduled intervals from a fountain on the strip!

Enjoy the strip, but please take time to explore the surrounding desert and mountains. If nothing else, visit the Valley of Fire which is totally amazing. It is made of red sandstone formations that glow like burning charcoal briquets when the light hits them just right.

You might also enjoy visiting Mount Charleston, which isn't as scenic as some of the other spots but is a popular place for the Las Vegas locals to hang out to escape the desert heat. Of course, it isn't as hot this time of year but it's still a nice place to visit, and I believe there is a small ski resort there if you're into that. Las Vegas is also close enough to the Grand Canyon to make a day trip feasible, and Death Valley is only about two hours away.

We weren't able to visit Death Valley last fall since it is only open to tourists four months of the year (so I was told) when the temperatures aren't as intense. Have a great trip! I'm going to post a link to my Valley of Fire slideshow on Associated Content to encourage you to go see it!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
