Please demystify for me all the ways ConundrumLand stats currently mingle with Mahalo Answers stats?

When you answer a question on MA, Mahalo increments the following. - Answers given counter (by 1) - Points (by 2 or 4, depending on if in less than 1 hour from when the question posted) When you answer a CL question, neither of the above is incremented. When you get a Best Answer on MA or CL the following are incremented.

- The Best Answer counter (by 1) - The points (by 10, plus 2 points per M$1 tip amount on MA only) - The Tips Received counter - The M$ balance When you vote for undecided questions on MA, you get a point each (up to your belt maximum). When you vote on CL, you don't get those points. I believe that ultimately, MA and CL will separate, once Mahalo figures they've had enough, or the two sites agree CL no longer needs MA help.

However, as Nils Bohr famously said, making predictions is really hard, especially about the future.

I wish I could help out, but I cannot. I can only add to the confusion. Not only have I answered many CLand questions that never even "registered" on the question as answers, we then were subjected to Cyber stripsearch for some time with any attempt to access the site, even if only to provide an answer.

They've toned that down, it seems, but with the glitchy algorithm that frequently gives a Mahalo user absolutely zip in the way of benefit from answering CLand questions, I run for the hills rather than answering one. Of course, if a CLand question is on our front page crawl, we will click on it without knowing that it is NOT truly what Mahalo is pondering. This is my biggest beef.

I feel it will undermine our endeavors to be the best QA site if we have to share with CLand. One more thing. The CLand questions tend to be so OMG!

I'm ROFLMAO! What is the target demographic, I often wonder, and how to properly answer CLand questions. Is this a conundrum?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
