I liked the poem "The River Merchant's Wife.
It Is 4:30Am. All I can think of (without going to some online source or digging out my Oxford Companion to English Literature) is this: 'And the women come and go, talking of Michelangelo'...But that's not Ezra Pound, its T.S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufock".
Oh no, no Best Answer for me! Seriously, Budawiggi, I think this was a great question. Always nice to be reminded that I've squandered my expensive education by now wasting my time reading British mysteries and writing Mahalo Pages....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
