Hmm. It sounds to me like you've ceased up the motor. Or you could have just gotten toe pull cord pinned or stuck in there.
No way to really know unless you take it apart or take it to a repair shop near you. Not an expert on mowers. But I've done my fair share of damage to them.
It is likely that the crankshaft was bent from the impact if you cannot turn it over. Try turning the blade by hand, if you can turn it than it is likely a sheared flywheel key. If not, bent crankshaft.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
