If he does then of course islam does t require you to give your children to him. They don't need to see an alcoholic. Keep him away from your children.

Divorce him, get him to pay child support, don't give him the dowry since he beats you You really want to make idah? For what? You want to compromise you and your childrens life?

You want to evaluate the bruises he gave you? The black eye? How about you evaluate the std test results.

Your husband could be hiv positive and putting your life at risk. He is endangering your health. Get tested and evaluate those results.

My parents divorce when I was a child and my mother remarried a man who had no kids of his own. Me and my sibilings had a stepdad but also saw our father. But my dad wasnt an alcholic junkie cheating wife beater.

This is a clear straight-forward case for an Islamic judge (or Imam if you're in the West) to judge on. If the matter is honestly as you have described, then the woman should not be subject to any loss, if you go through a proper Imam to resolve this situation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
