Actually, I like ..... both equally for different reasons, not more one than the other. I love the rainy season we have here where I live because I know that winter is finally over. The more rain the better in the Spring because it makes the new leaves come out on the 2 dozen leaf trees that surround my house. It also makes the grass grow in two areas out front of my house that was once a semicircular drive that I don’t want to use.
The neighbors all told me that I’d never get grass to grow again in these two areas after the last homeowner had it all scraped away. Well, I like a challenge like this.As it turns out, my lawn is connected to my one up neighbors. I own a mulching mower with a bag catcher.
So I mow his lawn for Free in order to obtain his grass clippings which I use to cover the new lawn seed I have already spread last year. With the abundant rain we had this year - I now have a nice lawn growing. So much for the past neighbors thoughts saying I couldn’t do it, because I HAVE.
Summer is Nice here too most of the time, at least when there is low humidity. I LOVE wearing very light clothing and spending much of my time with sandals on or in my bare feet. I really don’t like clothing that’s heavy like I used to have to wear when I lived in Northern New England.
I can also use the really Nice hot tub that came with the house when I bought it, which I can’t use in the winter that often. I’m much happier warm or hot than I am when it gets colder. I also enjoy spending long hours sitting on my 42 foot long rear deck reading and watching the numerous different types of animals that enjoy my rear yard.
Since my deck is up in the air 9 feet, I can sit quietly up there - watch the animals and they never know I’M there. It’s Great fun for me. Thank you for your question. Have a Nice Day.

I like the rain.... The summers where I live are long and hot and muggy, so they are not so much fun....also buggy. I like to garden, and don't mind doing so in light rain even. In the fall when we generally get rain (our summers the last few years have been close to drought conditions) I can just imagine my trees and shrubs, bulbs and perennials going "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" as their roots can finally stretch out and get a good long drink!
I know it sounds silly, but I really love flower gardening and think of it as God's work so I actually empathize with the plants! Also, I like a good rainy day indoors. When it is stifling hot and humid, etc., I just feel trapped indoors.
But for some reason on a rainy day, I enjoy being indoors with a good book or my cross-stitch or a good movie and some tea or hot chocolate, with a cat or two curled up on me or around me. I feel like the whole earth around me is being refreshed during a cool rain. During the hot summer, I feel like everything is being assaulted - I think the sun is worse than it used to be with the depleting ozone maybe?
- I know our summer weather begins sooner and ends significantly later than when I was a child growing up in the same area (I'm now 54). So, give me a "beautiful rainy day" any time! Great question!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
