Recommend a good GPS app for the iPhone, that works without data (cell or [[wifi]) access?

I can't recommend anything from personal experience, but there is a great site here, with lots of info on what's available and how it stacks up: artoftheiphone.com/2009/11/18/a-guide-to... You might also be interested in some techie stuff on how it works: gizmodo.com/5015930/giz-explains-what-yo... From what I can gather, if you are not going to have a net connection, or not a reliable one, you need an app that stores the maps on the device itself. Apart from TomTom and a few other similar priced ones there is a much cheaper one called CoPilot Live North America that is listed at $35. Should be at least worth a close look before you splash out at least double that on one of the others.

The commenters on the article seem happy enough with it anyway.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
