Religion has ruined my life?

It's not the religion that's ruining your life, it's the way your parents get along with their religious differences. Talk to your dad and tell him it's just nonsense. "Harold Camping" is not god and he can't predict what's going on.

"Oh yeah, I kinda messed up the dates a little, it's actually on October 21st..." DO YOU KNOW how many times he's said that? He's been doing his little predictions since the 90's, tell your dad to snap out of it. It's all GARBAGE.

You don't have to follow religion when you're older, but everyone has their beliefs and if you get your parents to have a talk over it then maybe... just maybe it'll work.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
