I get to answer questions from you, Rocketeer... and from other Askvillers as well! I enjoy logging on and learning all kinds of information from some very smart people and hearing about everyone's concerns. I like to think I help people find long lost books and movies - take fun quizzes, play games on the Discussion Board and just be here "where all the action is everyday"..

In the end, both might not happen... but I try because you never know what each day will bring and what questions I or others will come up with!

That all being said, I find people fascinating! The different views, morals and ethics really interest me! People are crazy and unique.. each one!

. The people (members) of Askville challenge me. I love the people and the differences of opinion.

I can always get a laugh out loud and I can usually provide one for someone else - which makes me smile too. Even if I don't comment, I read and then I think consider, ponder or argue a point that has been made. That is not to say that I disagree with everything.

Absolutely not - but when I do find myself on the opposite or different viewpoint, I take time to consider that POV. Sometimes I can just shrug my shoulders and say "yeah, ok" and move along. Other times I decide to take time to really think about the POV and why I may disagree, (or agree) and other times I opt to engage.

I had a pleasant exchange with another member a few days ago in the discussion about what we might choose to change in the world events.No sarcasm, no disrespect, just a nice exchange between two people who had slightly different viewpoints. I do love Askville for (as trinitysaij has pointed out) the crazy and unique people! .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
