Schumer blaming " lacking " gun laws on Fort Hood shooting. Is their no end to the insanity of liberalism?

People are looking at the easy access to semi-automatic handguns with high capacity magazines. That is of course a logical inquiry. It is also obvious that the much-touted conservative maxim that laws permitting carrying guns protect against gun violence is nonsense since the Arizona laws, as you point out, allow the carrying of concealed weapons.

The elements of surprise, quickness of reaction, the danger of exchanging fire in crowded, confused conditions, etc. are not seriously examined by such advocates.

Well what you and your fellow gun lovers are disingenuously ignoring is, despite the fact is that the tragedy happened under the ideal conditions that the gun crazies keep promoting ,the armed law abiding citizens in the crowd could not draw aim and fire their weapons fast enough to stop the shooter before he emptied his 31 round magazine. You guys had your fantasy situation and it failed it's real world test. Conclusion : Arizona's idiot gun laws and the people who support them are very much responsible for the carnage that occurred on Saturday in Tucson.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
