To actually receive presents for a change instead of being expected to always give them.

In some ways I'd like to have my memory erased of the last 11 years of my life but, if that were to happen, I probably would not learn the lessons that I have learnt and have to live with. Knowing what I now know has made me take a different course in life from which I hope I will benefit. If that turns out to be so that will be a great Christmas gift.

I hope that everyone here will have a beautiful day tomorrow, regardless of where they are, what they do or who they spend the day with and I hope the day will leave you all with very happy memories. I'm sure that mine will.

I agree with " focus ",I no longer receive gifts from any family except my husband due to a joint family decision to only buy for children up to age 18,made a few years ago. It would still be lovely, once in a while,to have a spontaneous small gift from perhaps my grandchildren but it never gets thought about. Even when I did receive gifts they were rarely thoughtful & I often felt they came from some lucky dip bag,not bought with me or my many interests in mind.

I would like to see a rainbow and find the pot of gold on my front porch, with that gold I can make allot of people happy at this time of the year. The main thing is that we never forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas, because without we really would have nothing.

When you wish upon a star, anything your heart desires will come to you. You can even turn into a real, living person. If you are brave and truthful and unselfish.

And if you have a conscience. youtube.com/watch?v=4cHsPCAZl….

We don't do the present thing anymore, too commerical etc. My son did ask me for the "gift of silence" today, he can be funny and witty at times but not so fun when there is a ring of truth about it all.

After years of working hard at two careers and now trying to make it on a bit of Social Security, I'd like to see the PCH van drive up to my house and give me the roses and the big check!

A gift card to a book store, a gift card to a SPCA! Anyone that really knew me would know my priorities and that I love to pick the gif/t myself.

I think most seniors have what they want already.....so for us...it'll be go the the movie (War Horse) and a day in the big city (the day after Christmas). Already did St. Andrews! GREAT.

Most have already expressed it. Peace and freedom from sickness or need to every living soul.

Two things.1. A round of golf at St.Andrews.2. My special person saying yes to a proposal of marriage.

A Harley, festooned with a half naked Katherine Jenkins.

For someone to say peace on earth has begone , all sickness will be cured, that would be my best present to the world.

That nice model Joan smalls giftwrapped in a santa suit, that or just one day of world peace.

My aunt is a senior citizen, and she likes to snog with a younger man.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
