There is no "abandon" question feature but you do have the option to select "No Best Answer" if that is not an option to you, you can "report" your question and the moderators can look into deleting it for you, if you have a good reason. We generally don't like idea of getting rid of questions especially if answerers have already worked hard on answering it. If you are unhappy with the questions that appear on your Mahalo like Leslie suggests above, there is no way to remove them, you can only push them out of the way by asking more relevant questions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
