No, but the definition should be adjusted. My personal definition of a murder is the guy who grabs a kid off the street and kills them for his own twisted pleasure. That's just an example, but you get the idea.
The drug dealer/user who gets killed in a deal gone bad wasn't murdered, he was put out of business. There's a difference. I still think the person who did it should go to jail if caught, but they should get some credit for the service they did to society.
We should also be devoting less time and money to catching such do-gooders. Of course I think the punishment for any senseless killing should be death. None of this spending years on death row eating up tax money etc.I also think that impaired driving causing death should be considered murder.
The person was committing a crime (drunk driving) and caused the death of another person in the process. If the same circumstances presented for instance when someone was robbing a store his gun went off by accident and killed someone, then he would be charged with murder, why any different when he's drunk and driving a 2000 lb missile? These are just my opinion though, and of course I exaggerate slightly to make my point.
If we're going to rehabilitate prisoners, then we should put whatever money is required to get it done. If we're not going to rehabilitate them, just lock them up for life, then we should just put them to death. I think its less cruel to both the prisoner and the tax payer.

4 Yup Marshall - I think this person is coming up with silly questions just to get the gold. I've noticed that they ask a lot of questions with no explanation that just leaving you thinking "Why? " In this case, the benefits of legalizing murder would be what?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
