Yes. Heart disease is the number one killer in the United States, even cancer can't beat the numbers that it puts up. With any disease, prevention is the key.
There are certain modifiable risk factors that can be put into effect. The major one being exercise. This combined with a low fat and low cholesterol diet seem to be the key to unlocking this disease and preventing a heart attack and or stroke.
