I think this is sort of a double edged sword. I am a traditionalist for the most part, and don’t like the DH. I feel that if you can’t field a position you shouldn’t expect to be in the lineup.
I believe that the pitcher batting is a part of baseball and can really add to the intrigue and managerial decision making that goes into deciding whether to pull a pitcher who is having a good game, but you need another run. On the other side of the coin, I don’t believe that Major League Baseball should have one league where there is a DH, and one where there is not. If you are going to hold onto the Designated hitter in the American League, then you should have it in the National League.
The rule goes back to when the leagues really were very separate, long before interleague play and such. But with there being less separation between the two leagues, I think the rules should be uniform.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
