Shouldn't Florida's QB-Tim Tebow come out and declare himself eligible for the NFL draft?

Simply put. He's really that terrible of a quarterback. I haven't gotten to watch his preseason game against the Colts yet, but I plan to this week.

But so far from past years in the NFL, Tebow has been beyond terrible. Here's one thing people need to keep in mind. Just because a quarterback's team wins doesn't mean that quarterback is great.

For example, Rex Grossman took the Chicago Bears all the way to the Super Bowl and he was a HORRIBLE quarterback. Some will say that Tebow HAD to be good because how else did he get his team to the playoffs and after that, how could he have won a game in the playoffs against a team like the Steelers that is usually very good. So let's address that.

Kyle Orton (who was FAR better) started off the season with the Broncos and did pretty well. Brady Quinn was the 2nd string quarterback and he was supposed to step in when Orton went out injured. When Quinn went to step into the game though, Tebow stepped into the game when he was not supposed to.

Oops! Tebow ended up winning about half or a little less of the games he played in. HOWEVER, the games he won were against REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad teams.

These were like against teams with 1-5 records. And the games were really low scoring games where the Broncos defense did an amazing job of holding the other team from scoring. Tebow would throw awful the first 3 quarters and the Broncos mainly ran the ball at times.

And when I say that Tebow threw awful, I'm not kidding at all. That is a gross understatement if there ever was one. Awful would be throwing like below 50% completion.

Tebow in the first three quarters was literally completing often at times 1 pass in 16 pass attempts. That is an amazingly horrible 6.25%. Heck, I think you could have brought in the local high school quarterback or even a local middle school quarterback and he could have had a better completion rate.

But then in the fourth quarter, after the Broncos had ran the ball so much Tebow would chuck some long bombs and just get lucky that his pass somehow got caught by a guy on his team. I say that because I saw him play for the Pats. His passes most of the time weren't even within 10-20 yards of the receiver.

That is way beyond bad. Usually with a good quarterback you are talking about a 1 foot to 3-4 foot window. Tebow couldn't hardly get it into a 30-60 foot window.

A lot of barns aren't even 30 feet long, let alone 60, so Tebow at times literally couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with his passes. So basically Tebow played some really really bad teams and barely beat them with some incredible help from his defense, some really lucky passes and the defense being lulled to sleep by the Broncos running it so much that they failed to play proper defense against the Broncos passing game at all. So how did they beat the Steelers?

Well, honestly, the Steelers really sucked that year. And I mean they REALLY sucked. Usually the Steelers are pretty good.

But the Steelers barely made it into the playoffs themselves that year. So for those that don't want to still believe that Tebow sucked and that the Steelers didn't suck that year, they need to pay attention to the next fact. Now we come to the Broncos vs Pats playoff game.

FINALLY, Tebow and the Broncos play a tough team. So what was the result? The Broncos got the worst playoff beating in NFL history, LITERALLY.

It set an NFL record. I think the Broncos got beat by at least 40 points. I like Tebow.

He's a very hard worker. He tries very hard. He's great at motivating people.

But historically he just sucks at passing the ball. In fact, even his former college head coach said that he did. Urban Meyer really reduced the amount that Tebow had to pass the ball by running the option nearly all of the time.

Tebow really never had to pass the ball much or make deep passes. And in college he had more time to get off passes. In the NFL, you have to get off passes quicker.

But Tebow's arm mechanics were all wrong, not to mention his footwork to get off quick and accurate passes. If Tebow had the talent and smarts that he had in drive, he'd be amazing. He just can't throw the ball well.

And what does a quarterback get paid to do? THROW THE BALL!

It meant nothing. Although I'm not sure how good he was at being a QB in college either, seems to me he was a running QB then too. He can't pass for crap.

I mean if you asked why he can't make it when Sanchez did then I'd say you have something of a question and the reality is that it is he brings a media circus and isn't good. He isn't worth the trouble.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
