Single Dorm VS Having a roommate?

Better is a subjective word. First, you are assuming that you even get a choice. Some schools do allow you to request or list your preference, but there is not guarantee you'll get what you request.

Roommate: The pros are you have a built in person to hang out with until you make other friends and the cost of the room is usually less that that of a single. You also will get the opportunity to work on communication and conflict resolution skills. Any you probably will never be alone.

Single: The best thing about a single is that you don thave to share space or accommodate the needs and habits of another person. You can play your music, be a slob or neat freak as you wish. The downside is that you have to make an extra effort to connect with people and some students even find they get lonely because the are alone for some many hours a day.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
