Something I thought I'd never see, me, Askviller of the Day. Never, ever, because?

Something I thought I'd never see, me, Askviller of the Day. Never, ever, because I am so shy and usually am in the background watching, reading, observing, hiding, LOL. So here I am, caught.

Here's my question, which are few and far between, do you still enjoy Askville despite current drama or because of current drama? Don't be afraid to take an answer slot. I've found good friends and lots of information and ideas and those have lead me to more browsing and seeking of knowledge.

Hmmm, sounds like a never-ending circle. So, again, are you still enjoying? Asked by Bear60 38 months ago Similar questions: thought Askviller Day Amazon > Askville.

OH YES! Without a doubt, I am still enjoying! And I want to congratulate you again on being our "AOTD!

Congradulations again. And many more. Askville has it up and downs, wrong and rights, but all Askvillians so far have been very encouraging, and patient.

There are a whole lot of good people on here, drama or not. You see, you sold yourself short and today became your day. No mustery about it, you earned it.

Give yourself a pat on the back and say "Good Job". I enjoy it here. My family doesn't understand why, but what about Myspace.

You don't need to think to be on Myspace. It's fun I would imagine from my kids perspective, but I rather work my brain. Sources: Me .

Congratulations! I am so much like you. I prefer to stay in the background and only answer questions if I can provide a really good answer.

I too have found good friends and really appreciate them. Yes, I still do enjoy Askville as once in awhile there's a good question. Now this afternoon there are couple of really good discussions going on which had me rolling with laughter.

I try to stay in the background when there tends to be drama. My opinion is let them duke it out. If I have something to value to add, I will.

I have learned a lot from some of the great answers that come in. Isn't life like this? A never ending circle....good times, bad, etc.? .

Congratulation Mr. Bear60. Congrats on being Askviller of the day. My personal opinion is anyone that reaches that status is great.

I haven't reached that status yet, but when I do I will be shouting it from the rooftops. Well maybe I'll shot it from the ground. I don't think I can get up on the roof.

LOL I still enjoy Askville, but not as much as I use to. The current and past drama has nothing to do with my likes and dislike o Askville. I just get a little bored sometimes.

I think where ever you go, there will be some drama. God made the perfect world, but we as people, are not perfect. I think a little drama is what keeps things interesting.

Making AOTD is an art from what I can tell. I was here for over a year and never received one AOTD. And then all of a sudden, I received three in a short period of time.

Management doesn’t seem inclined to reveal their secret formula for who is picked as AOTD. So, we are forced to speculate as to what mystical and arcane process they employ. My guess is that they try to hand them out to good little boys and girls who don’t cause trouble and who seem to be progressing nicely on Askville and catch the eye of the management as contributing something postive to Askville.

There are lots of people here who rack up big points and get quite a few Best Answers at one time, particularly with the Bonus Questions. And not all of them are recognized all the time. So my guess is that you did something very right and got yourself noticed.

Whatever you did, try to do more of it. Congratulations!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
