Take the old stripped plug to your local NAPA store. Tell them "we need help" and they will hand you a nice new slightly larger self tapping plug that will screw right in. They may also suggest a type of plug that will remind you of the drain plug for your boat.
They will expect payment for this service however, probably about a fourth of what a 14mm tap would cost!
Most auto parts stores have kits for these stripped plugs. Comes with a new plug that cuts new threads. Not the best option, but cheap.
Uses a large rubber gasket to seal.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
