If you're just switching between two accounts, the way I do it, is I stay logged in to my primary account, and to go to the other account, I open an incognito window. You won't be logged in in the incognito window, but you will stay logged in in the ordinary window. I do not know of a good way to fast-switch between accounts though.
Install this chrome extension: Google Account Switcher ( https://chrome.google. Com/extensions/detail/igdmifgmjlomonhbeficamklofbllepo ).
I have bookmarked the URL of each Gmail account: 1 in normal Gmail and 2 in Google Apps in 2 domains I own. That way I have my 3 Gmail accounts opened at the same time without problem. But remember that only works because I have 1 account in each domain plus the normal Gmail account.
It may be a while for Chrome to catch up with Firefox but Firefox loves to catch up with new innovations from Opera and Opera has Private Windows and Private Tabs now. I think Firefox has a new plug-in to try to emulate the feature. Not sure how well its implemented but under Opera you could open each account at the same time in separate Private Windows/Tabs and all the account login metadata is kept isolated.
Look for something like that for Chrome.
Jason - I know you are looking for something to use with Chrome, but here is a workable solution that uses Firefox - you install the Greasemonkey extension and the Google Account Multi-login extension and you are good to go. Essentially, this replaces the "sign out" button in the upper right of your Google accounts with a drop down of all your other accounts. I haven't seen anything that works for Chrome...yet.
From purely an email standpoint, you could consolidate all of your email accounts into a master email account, but I'm thinking you are looking for something more like the Google Account Multi-login feature I mentioned above. Here is the link for the Firefox extension: userscripts.org/scripts/show/16341.
Not sure if this would work for you, but I created a shared folder in my gmail google docs, that specifically shares with a google apps account at work, and vice versa. That way I have access to the documents regardless of what account I'm using. I also did hear that google will soon be allowing you to "link" accounts - ie gmail and google apps accounts, but not sure on the details of it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
