Tax refund direct deposit date January 24,2012?

I filed on 21st and got accepted the 22nd. Was supposed to be deposited 2/1 the changed being processed and should receive it by 2/7. Then Sun 2/5 it changed to dd 2/8.

Just check tt and money was deposited today at 9:30 et but won't be avail til tomorrow 2/8. Did anyone receive theirs today despite the dd date for tomorrow?

Mine were accepted on Jan. 19th. My original dd date was supposed to be Jan.31 (which didn't make sense to me) but then it was changed to Feb.7. I was okay with that until I spoke with coworkers who filed more than a week after me and had received their return back already.

Then WMR changed my DD to Feb. 8, I waited patiently, and still nothing. I filed three weeks ago with TurboTax. Why do I have to wait 3+ weeks when others only wait a week?

It's not right that we have no real way of knowing what's going on. Like everyone else, I need my money. In fact, I really needed it, which was why I filed early in the first place.

I'm going to call IRS and see if I can get some more info. The last time I called, the woman was apathetic and very vague- it was a complete waste of the 30+ minute hold time it took to talk to her. Going to try and be positive about it, nonetheless, and hopefully this time I'll hear good news.

ETA Called around. Turns out I added my check # to the account # when filling out the dd info. Chase was able to catch it and transfer the money back to me.

They say I'll get it within 24 hours. If anyone else was promised today as a scheduled dd date and do not see it in acct, you may want to take a look at your return and make sure you didn't do the same thing I did. If I would've waited until tomorrow to call my money would've been sent back to IRS meaning it would have been a month or so before I could get a mailed check.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
