Teaching my girlfriend's little sister some photography tricks tomorrow, anyone have any helpful tips or location ideas?

I think it's best to get a feel for photography when you're in a natural light setting. Take her to a park, or even downtown, or someplace where there is plenty of natural light and just let her wander around and take pictures of things that catch her attention. I don't know what kind of camera you are using, so I won't go into detail about the different settings on the camera, but even a basic point and shoot digital camera these days can take wonderful pictures, without being a professional.

Some things to try are, to take pictures with the sun behind her, and then other shots with the sun coming towards her. She'll get different types of light in her shots, and that alone can help her get a feel for what types of pictures and lighting she might enjoy. Have her take some close up pictures (usually there is a flower icon on digital cameras) that will allow you to take 'macro' pictures, which means you can zoom up close to small objects.

This is a fun way to capture bees on flowers and such like that. Really, learning how to take pictures is all about finding a style that interests you and just playing around until you feel you've found your focus. If you are working with a digital camera, be sure to let her take as many pictures in a variety of settings as she can fit on the memory card, then go home and upload them to the computer so you can sit together and look at what she's done... what she liked, didn't like, what she might try again, etc. It's all about practice, but if she has a natural interest or knack for taking photographs, it'll be clear early on.

Most of all, have fun! :).

Being able to find a girlfriend is all about taking rain on your parade and hoping for a rainbow. Sure, you'll get some rejection, that's life. But can you make the negative experience of a "No" turn into a learning experience and work towards the next girl's "Yes"?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
